A Friend In Need

Because Gary Lucas (nor Arlene, for that matter) could not undertake much of the necessary prep work (bottom prep and painting, side and deck washing and waxing) for launching Wind Chime this year, the folks of Fleet 19 got together and gave Gary and Arlene a hand. Gary is still recovering from shoulder surgery that was supposed to have taken only weeks but turned out to be months instead due to the extent of the damage.
Gerry Braddick (9th Daughter), all suited up, prepares materials paint the bottom.
Jim Hamilton (Sea Dream) waxes the deck (or some such nonsense)
John Jennings (Escapade) continues his waxing work.
During the post-Shakedown Cruise picnic, the guys took a few minutes after lunch to mount (or is it install?) Wind Chime's outboard motor, the last piece before launching the next week
The "helpers" from left: Dave Tierney (Celtic Pride); Jim Hamilton (Sea Dream); Gerry Braddick (9th Daughter); John Jennings (Escapade). Thanks for your help, guys!
